AS THE ELECTION NEARS
The best thing about yesterday was the discovery that Milk Duds in hot oatmeal tastes great. The rest of the day was spent in Election Agony (to be defined shortly) and Bowel Auditing.
It’s only days from the Presidential election and the news stations and paper press are in a frenetic whirlpool of predictions, projections and suppositions.
And I’m caught up in it. This is Election Agony. People are talking about not believing in abortion or having immigrants descending on their quiet hometowns and wrecking it; there’s suggestions of a national prayer chain for the right candidate. And there’s a lot of mis information and lack of facts.
I know my vote but am worried about the actual results. Personally, I feel strongly that this election will effect the whole world and certainly the whole world will be watching.
Bowel Auditing? My doctor put me on a routine that involves fiber and water. So I am doing what I need to do and eliminating a long standing problem that many women my age suffer. Unreliable bowel movements. Ugly, but true.
But today the sun is shining and I’m going shopping for some expensive clothes. This is a brief relief from Election Agony and Bowel Auditing.
