My life is like the ocean – sometimes smooth and calm, oher times turbulent and and boistrous. My life rides the waves, sometimes up and other times down.
This last week has been in a trough. I organised a Witch’s Tea, chose a date, wrote out invitations and passed them out. Before the day was out, 7 out of 10 people informed me that they were already booked for that date. So I cancelled the Witch’s Tea.
The Nova Southeastern Uni is going well with the Life Long Learning lectures, which I am enjoying.
But the two financial institutions I have to deal with in Australian are driving me crazy. I cannot access my accounts because of an additional layer of security. I’ve tried calling, to no avail and remain in limbo.
But my friend in Australia is going through the same thing in reverse. She told me to be patient. She spent 4 hours on the phone to Bank of America before she accomplished what she wanted. So I guess I will attack again Monday night, and try to persevere.
Bridge is OK, but not as wonderful as it used to be. Desperate to find a partner for Friday’s who is willing to collaborate and build a solid game. I do have a few ideas, but will wait few weeks before implementing them.
So last week was a big of a trough, but it won’t last long.
The waves come, they go. And still I march forward.
